Water at the Token Creek Parade has been a long-time tradition. The Parade Committee wants to continue this fun tradition of having water without damage to property or personal injury. Therefore, we ask that you please follow the following rules:
SPECTATORS
NO WATER BALLOONS
Only throw water at a parade entry that is actively throwing or spraying water at you.
NO NOT throw water at any parade entry that is not engaged in a water exchange with you.
NO NOT initiate a water exchange. Only respond when water is thrown at you.
DO NOT run into the street. Throw water from behind the curb.
Be considerate of those around you who may not want to get wet.
PARADE ENTRIES
NO WATER BALLOONS
DO NOT broadcast water over large crowds of people -- direct water only that those wishing to be engaged.
DO NOT direct water anywhere near the Judge's Tent or the Food & Raffle Tent
DO NOT direct water toward any of the electronics used to broadcast sound (speakers, sound equipment, etc.).
All trucks or trailers should have railings for the safety of the riders -- otherwise, riders should be seated.
DO NOT throw candy to spectators; please hand it out.
